It was a usual Saturday morning, After taking a sweaty Yoga class, A friend introduce a  lady to me to be her physician, Dr. R. When the session begins, and I helped some other Yogis by helping them getting deeper in their practice. After the class, I talked to Dr. R and she inquired about what I was doing? I told her I use Yoga to help people with their bodies. She sounded interested and proceeded to show me her problem, which she told me was a L4/L5 vertebral displacement. She said that she had battled it for a couple of years and she even took it upon herself to learn PT. (basically anything to avoid surgery.)

I lifted up her shirt tail and saw the displacement and it protruded out 1/2 inch. pretty severe case, but I can visualize her vertebrate in my head and proceeded to work on her. using like a plow pose and other Yoga manipulations. It took about 20 minutes and looks like the discs are back in place. Dr. R felt a lot better afterwards.

She was of course amazed at what just happened, and proceeded to ask me if I wanted to tackle anything tougher..."I thought bulged discs were pretty tough already..." I laughed. She said:"What about Paralysis?" I take a look at her to check if she was serious, and she was. So I chuckled and jokingly said:"So you want me to do God's work?"   (pardon the sacrilegious comment.)

From there she described this young lady that had fell off a tree in her high school year. It was about as sad as one can be. So I decided to take this on, but I think she's is going to be with me for a while, months at least. So I decided to get compensated for my time. hence it started my "professional"career as a healer, and I have Dr. R to thank for her trust in me.

It took about a week before I get Katie on. What my understanding was that Dr R. needed to make sure that the bulged discs work sticks. So after about a week. I have my dear friend AA with me and I saw Katie for the first time. She has the most amazingly beautiful smile when I saw her through my glass door. She does not looked beaten down. She has this look of confidence in her that I really wanted the best to happen to her.

Katie was with me for the length of a couple of months, through this time, she had shown enough improvement to greatly lengthens her PT sessions. allowing her to move into  robotic assisted walking devices training. She now goes to Texas A&M University, driving around everyday. living a full life. She had once told me her dream would be going to Europe by herself without the aid of her very hard working Mom on her side.

She also caught the eye of the local congressman that had invited her to an all expense paid trip to go to Washington DC and be in President Trump's State of the Union address in 2018!
